Came here on a Tuesday evening after being in the area. The restaurant has a nice ambience and service is great. We got the aquarium mixed grill and French fries which totalled about 41. This feeds two and the meat is plentiful. The price on the website is different and should be updated. My favourite part was the Koubideh, so soft and full of flavour. The garlic and chilli sauce were also great. Naan fantastic and quick service. Rice perfect. I would definitely recommend

I’ve been going to aquarium religiously for about six years now. In comparison to any other Persian restaurant I’ve been into, the ingredients are fresher; I love getting the chicken taouk wrap (would massively reccomend with chilli and garlic sauce)- the salad has never lacked crunch, the tomatoes hit the spot and burst in your mouth, the chicken is UNREAL- I have no clue how they marinade it to make it that delicious but it’s succulent and so flavourful. The wraps are the biggest tourist attraction to Acton Town; and yet this in no way takes away from the divine experience that is a sit down meal. When I say the staff are lovely I do not exaggerate; they are so attentive and sweet and you feel a real sense of family between them. The owner is a lovely woman who is passionate about food and is so welcoming and warm. I don’t usually write reviews but my love for this restaurant is unlike any other. This is no drunk kebab munch either; the wraps from aquarium are honest to god gourmet and once you have a bite you’ll be addicted. The baklava is insanely good here, as is the fattoush, and the lamb is tender and aromatic. When my best friend visits London she travels an hour to Aquarium even when I’m not in the area, and is just as addicted as I am to the authentic spices and fresh ingredients lovingly cooked to perfection- who wouldn’t be? If you take anything away from this essay of a review, let it be that aquarium is a JEWEL of a restaurant and visiting is tantamount to a pilgrimage.

Brought my sister, husband and my wife. The men had the succulent marinated lamb skewers with the melt in your mouth rice they serve. The ladies had a lamb Persian stew with aubergine and lentils which they enjoyed immensely with Chianti wine. Great interior design. Good for private party.

I have been there a couple of times (ordering take away). The lady taking my orders was lovely! She happily explained the dishes and even helped me mix and match my dishes to let me explore more flavours. The food was very flavourful and the portion is really big for the price we paid for. The rice / berry rice was very fluffy. The chicken dishes (both grilled and cooked in a stew) were amazing dishes with loads of explosive flavours that you will not forget. I have the atmosphere 4 stars instead of 5 because I was there always to order take away (I live nearby) and also the restaurant always seems a bit empty.
